Specialist – E-mobility & Clean Transportation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Planning Professional with 4 – 6 years of practical experience in the electric mobility, clean and urban transportation consulting industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dealing with consulting projects related to electric mobility, transportation planning, data analysis, and project management. The candidate will be a part of a growing team within ICF focusing on clean transportation related projects.

Required experience:

• Develop transportation plans to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze transportation data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate project related activities.
• Evaluate transportation networks and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
• Utilize transportation modeling software and tools to simulate and forecast transportation scenarios.
• Identify and implement strategies to reduce carbon footprint and promote sustainability.
• Lead transportation projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in transportation planning.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, policies, and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience of contributing to business development related activities (proposal/ CV/ budget preparation) would be required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex transportation data.
• Proficiency in transportation modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, TRANSIMS, SYNCHRO).
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (powerpoint, word, excel) & GIS is a must. Knowledge of other software like Photoshop, data visualization through power BI will be an added advantage.

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s degree in planning/ civil engineering/ architecture, or related field. Master’s degree in Transport planning/ engineering is essential.
• 4 – 6 years of experience in transportation planning or related roles.
