Sourcing Expert

As Sourcing Expert, your work will focus on these accountabilities:-

• Vendor development, New product development, improve supply performance in order to meet set targets for quality, delivery time,cost,lead time & compliances.
• Product costing (Castings, Machining, Fabrication, Forging Etc), Provide technical assistance to supplier, Process planning, Quality assurance plan.
• Indigenization of components (Pumps, Flow meters, Cables, control valves, Filters, Pipes, Flanges, Fittings, Electric Motors,Cables,transformers ,Pressure Gauges, Etc).
• Coordination with WFI – Technology team / Design Team for technical issues and possible solutions
• Engineering Change note / Deviations -Maintain and follow-up for design notification closure and subsequent implementation in design.
• Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers. Negotiate, create and maintain supply contracts and communicate results to the internal stakeholders in defined area of responsibility and/or handle supplier relations to maintain, improve and develop performance in supplier and related processes
• Maintain supply data to relevant systems in defined area of responsibility
• Participate in the creation of the category strategy and/or action plan and its implementation
• Participate in or execute supplier audits and follow-up the audit action plan
• Secure supplier capacity to meet future demands by Discovering  and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
• Execute and/or support supplier selection & Participate in make or buy policy decision making process by Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Collate and analyze spends and supplier data as well as to  execute benchmarking in order to continuously improve and enhance the supplier network.
• Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
• Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques.
• To follow and implement Code of conduct with all suppliers.

Qualifications And Experiences:-

• Have a Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
• Have minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position
• Good knowledge in Supply chain management, Logistic, Business Administration, sourcing and vendor management process
• Good knowledge of manufacturing process (Fabrication, Machining, Forging, Casting, etc)
• Detail oriented, High Initiatives, and good communication
• Experience in using SAP (PP and MM Module) is advantage.
