Solution Lead – Windchill publication & conversion

Key Responsibilities in your roles as Solution Lead:-

• Advise and decide the best digital & IT solutions for digital transformation projects and products.
• Have a key role for a successful PLM transformation processes and drive efficient and effective process improvements in Windchill solution.
• Advisory and support to stakeholders to gather and identify their needs and problems and what solution would best address them.
• Assist stakeholders build a roadmap of the digital transformation projects, implement valuable pieces of work in a logical sequence, and ensure that they can get value at each implementation.
• Work closely and lead with core business representatives, Architects to understand expectations and work towards making the transformations as seamless as possible for the business.
• Be part of the digital team and play an active role in Volvo’s digital transformation
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and drive system improvements.
• Collaborate with ITA and PTC for securing the solution as per the needs and mitigate the challenges.
• Create and maintain an efficient relationship with all stakeholders of PLM/PDM landscape

Qualification And Experience:-

• Broad knowledge of 3D CAD, PLM Platforms, and tools (Preferably PTC)
• Experience in PLM domain, process management, requirement management.
• Experience and an understanding of PLM, CAD and 3D visualization and understand the capabilities with collaboration and virtual product data in a PLM tool, preferably Windchill.
• You will need to have knowledge from Product development processes, preferable in the automotive business.
• Experience in handling light weight data, workflow management, BOM & Context management.
• You have a continuous improvement mindset and work proactively.
• Ability to express business needs
• A business-like approach and broad insight into different types of capabilities.
• Experience in agile way of working.
• You are comfortable in working with various stakeholders, navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment and delivering results as a team,
• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• You have good communication & presentation skills
