Solar Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer at Voltstar Solar, you will be responsible for:

• Manpower and time management to complete project on time.
• Ensure all the safety policies are followed on project and apply on the team
• Provide technical direction or support to installation teams.
• Planning and ensuring all electrical installations as per approved drawing and material approvals.
• Execution and monitoring, erection and commissioning of all electrical equipment’s as per compliance with the plan, shop drawing, specification, schedule and standards.
• Overall commissioning support for solar power plant on string level, SCB level, LA, metering panel, LT panels like MJB, ICB etc.
• Observing daily site activities, resolve the issues.
• Maintaining daily work progress reports.
• Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met
• Deployment of suitable manpower and equipment’s/materials and proper planning to ensure timely execution of the Project and O&M.

Qualifications And Experience:-

• 2- 4 Years of Experience in the solar industry, particularly with rooftop solar projects
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical or related technical field
• Solar Industry knowledge and experience with solar power and solar systems
• Experience in PV Design and Electrical Design
• Understanding of project management and project lifecycle
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Effective communication skills
