Solar Sales Engineer

• Be the face of the organisation for clients/customers/beneficiaries and pitch, present, negotiate and close projects at all times.
• Train in various sales tactics and approaches approved by the company.
• Contact potential clients to describe benefits of solar over Grid through facts and details, using new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means.
• Ideate with the engineering team to provide best in class solution to our customers with financial and technical feasibility reports.
• Draft the scope of work and estimate the respective project budget.
• Develop and maintain project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project’s success.
• Communicate with utilities and authority having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues.
• Work to maximise sales and meet targets. Deliver sales reports to management. Track purchases and keep record of sales, contacts and deals.

Qualification:-

• Passion for the solar industry. Should be well versed with the latest trends and would keep learning about newer commercial and/or technological leaps in the industry.
• MBA + B.Tech or other related Engineering fields from top colleges across India.

Experience:-

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sales and project management, Experience in B2B sales would be considered an advantage. Applicants with solar industry experience will be preferred.

Skills:-

• Confident Negotiator / Ability to recognise an opportunity / Great interpersonal skills / Technically Strong / Interest in solar and renewable energy at large.

Performance Goals:-

• Client Servicing Levels, Target Achievement, New Partnerships & Quality of Partnerships.

Annual Salary:-

• Fixed 3 lacs + Incentive & TA/DA additional. For the right candidate salary would not be a concern.
