Solar PV Design Engineer

Incumbent will be responsible for design engineering of grid-tie/grid connected Solar
PV system on the rooftop and ground. He will report to AVP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Developing Site Survey SOPs and documentation.
– Preparation and review of design, layout and drawings, shadow analysis, capacity.
– Review calculations for onsite rooftop and ground based Solar PV project.
– Optimizing the layout and solar PV plant capacity for maximum generation.
– Configuration and sizing of solar PV plant.
– Preparation of BOM and BOQ.
– Preparation of SLD and electrical design for injection of energy to LT panel.
– Designing Solar PV plant monitoring system.
– Developing industry best practices, standards and guidelines.
– Testing and commissioning of Solar PV plant, stabilization and solving initial.
– problem after plant commissioning.
– Work closely with Sales and Marketing team, project team to meet the deadlines.
– Lead technical design team.

SKILLS – Excellent knowledge of AuoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup, MS Office

– Good understanding of NEC articles related to Solar PV system design and
– Indian Standard for electrical installations in power system.
– Application of IEC and IS Standards for Solar PV and Electrical System.
– Effective written and oral communications skills.
– Problems solving ability.

EXPERIENCE – 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Design. Candidate having experience in Solar PV Design engineering will be given preference.

EDUCATIONAL / QUALIFICATION– B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/M.E. in Electrical Engineering/Power/Electrical & Electronics.

LOCATION – Base location-Pune he/she must be willing to travel as per requirements of the job.
