Site Reliability Engineer

• Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of the infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud platforms as required
• Design to develop full Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Solutions
• Manage full application stacks from the OS through custom applications using Amazon cloud-based computing environments
• Work closely with Architects, Project Managers and Engineers to design networks, systems, and storage environment that effectively reflect business needs, security requirements, and service level requirements
• Manage a continuous integration/continuous deployment methodology for the server-based technologies
• Work with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable software services
• Cloud infrastructure Cost optimization and right-sizing to help the products get the best value from their cloud investments
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines to for fully automated deployments of infrastructure
• Setting up Cloud infrastructure Observability/Monitoring using Application Insight / Azure Monitor / Datadog / PagerDuty and the Cloud Center of Exellence own Centralized Monitoring Solution
• Ensure products are following DevOps recommended practices and execution.
• Guide products to achieve High-Availability and Disaster Recovery in a cloud context
• To work in rotational shifts

Qualifications And Experience:-

• 5+ years of experience
• Experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, EKS, etc
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, Chef, Artifactory in a cloud environment
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration
• Experience with configuring and managing infrastructure services such as Databases, Backups, directory services, SMTP, DNS, etc.
• Experience in AWS cost optimization and rightsizing tools
• Experience with configuration and management of tools for HA and scalability
• Experience with installing and configuring application servers such as Tomcat
• Ability to create and utilize Terraform templates to automate creation of AWS images
• Proficient in developing scripts and scripting languages PowerShell and Python
• A team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment and the ability to lead
• Skill and ability to train others on technical and procedural topics
• AWS and ITIL certifications are preferred and a plus
