Senior Specialist – Equipment Maintenance

Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use. Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action.
• Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
• Maintain and provide the daily MIS reports
• Attending, planning and executing the works as per the production requirements
• On time support for all production, maintenance and other plant related activities
• Measure the subordinate performance and maintain the data and improve the skills of the subordinates to next level
• Focus on department KPI and individual KPI and plan to achieve the same

Required Qualifications:

• For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Manufacturing & Equipment Maintenance. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or a diploma with relevant experience ( min 5 Years plus )

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
