Senior Software Engineer – Polarion

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Candidate should able to handle and manage following task independently for (Siemens) Polarion

Application Expert:-

•  L1 (first point of contact) for business users to manage and support operational issues & bug fixes.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve issues with customer satisfaction.
• Ability to raise, manage and coordinate product related issues and queries through GTEC (Siemens Issue Management Tool).
• Application configuration: Ability to perform Global and Project specific configuration, Form layout development, custom fields, validations, workflow etc.

Application Development:-

• Ability to develop report & functionality,
• Ability to enhance functionality using Velocity scripting, Java scripting, php scripting etc.
•  Ability to manage and develop Polarion interfaces with other external application.
• Mobile Usages: Ability to facilitate, develop and manage mobile apps for Polarion application.

Application administrator:-

• Ability to define and manage access management,
• Ability to manage upgrades and other admin related tasks
• Server Handling: Server (Linux, Apache) including logs, upgrade, capacity enhancement etc.

Process Expert:-

• Good understanding of requirement, defect, task management, workflow etc.
• Ability to explore, suggest and implementation of new functionalities.
• Ability to perform application training to end users

Communication skill:-

• Good communicator and collaborator – ability to communicate and manage multinational key users and having cultural sensitivity
• Attitude to learn, develop and deliver.
• First point of contact Single point of contact to manage incident & development.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors.

Requirements:-

• Education: Graduation
• Experience: 4 + years of relevant experience in the field
