Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• UI test automation and integration within Jenkins.
• Create Test Automation Plans (strategy),Test Automation Designs, Test Automation scripts
• Develop and maintain the automation frameworks for Desktop & Web.
• Creation of automation scripts using Python or Java/Selenium.
• Create automation scripts for API’s
• Execute on the Jenkins’s continuous delivery system.
• Install and configure test systems.
• Clear documentation of problems found during testing.
• Scripts maintenance under source code control (GIT/Perforce/SVN).
• Conduct testing on Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning marine products.
• Includes new feature testing plus system regression and UAT tests.
• Understanding of customer needs and use of Satellite Positioning products.
• Continual focus on software Quality.

Educational Qualifications:-

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Master Degree preferred) in Software Systems, Computer Science, Geoinformatics Engineering, or a related Engineering field.
• Relevant certificates like ISTQB will be an added advantage

Skills Required:-

• 5 years QA experience for embedded real-time applications.
• Work experience in automation of desktop/web application using Python scripting, Selenium /or similar tools.
• Work experience in automation of API’s.
• Work experience in Jenkins’s continuous delivery system.
• Knowledge on Regression, Performance and Exploratory test phases.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well both in groups and independently.
• Willingness to tackle technical challenges with a fair amount of self-direction including SW programming and hardware set-up.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to details & strong analytical and engineering skills.
• A can-do attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
