Senior Site Execution Maintenance(substation)

This is a critical role in the maintenance and operation of high-voltage electrical substations. He or She is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of high-voltage electrical substations, including planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Maintenance Planning: Develop and execute maintenance plans for high-voltage electrical substations, including routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Work Execution: Coordinate and execute maintenance work on substation equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and other high-voltage electrical equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to substation equipment and systems, including fault analysis, diagnosis, and repair.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with established standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and engineers to ensure that maintenance activities are performed efficiently and effectively.
• Communication: Collaborate with other teams, including operations, engineering, and management, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and priorities.
• Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualification and Experience:-

• Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a substation environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical substation equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and other high-voltage electrical equipment.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to substation equipment and systems.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a team of technicians and engineers to ensure that maintenance activities are performed efficiently and effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with other teams and stakeholders.

Certifications:-

• Certified Electrical Engineer (CEW)
• Certified Maintenance Technician (CMT)
• Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)

Working Conditions:-

• Work Environment: High-voltage electrical substations, which can be hazardous due to electrical shock and other safety risks.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• Travel: May require occasional travel to other sites or offices.
