Senior Project Lead Engineer

This is an Senior Project Lead Engineer role, reporting to Engineering Manager in Process Automation Business Area, based out of Bangalore; India. You will be primarily responsible to coordinate engineering discipline across several projects. Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities:-

• Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc).
• Support Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.). Provides cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within budget and contract.
• Create work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility. Reviews and approves scope, budget and schedule for assignments and ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost.
• Complete risk and opportunity assessments and ensures implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility.
• Provide support and technical advice to colleagues. Assigns tasks for and directs engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Capable of carrying out the Project engineering Schemes, Line diagrams, providing guidance on graphic design, preparation of FAT, SAT related to the project. Capable of performing the tasks by following the approved Engineering process documents.
• Assist customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables.

Qualification And Experiences:-

• B.E/ B. Tech in in Electronics and/or Electrical or Instrumentation from a reputed university.
• Minimum 8-12 years’ experience in Automation world either through engineering, commissioning, testing of automation systems
• Overall knowledge of engineering, commissioning, and testing of DCS and instrumentation
• Experience in HMI/Application Development.
• Working experience in Power plants (Thermal / Solar / Hydro / Gas)
• Working experience of closed loop control system for Power Plant applications.
• Experience in S plus is added advantage
• Knowledge of structural and functional architecture of control systems.
• Working knowledge on interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.).
