Senior Project Lead Engineer

As a Senior Project Lead Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager in Process Automation Business Area ,you will be responsible for coordinating engineering discipline across several projects, providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities and you will assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.).

Responsibilities:-

• Being responsible for supporting Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.).
• Providing cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivering within budget and contract
• Creating work plans and cost estimates in one’s area of responsibility. Reviewing and approving scope, budget and schedule for assignments and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost
• Completing risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility
• Providing support and technical advice to colleagues. Assigning tasks for and directs engineers, technicians, and administrative staff
• Being capable of carrying out the Project engineering Schemes, Line diagrams, providing guidance on graphic design, preparation of FAT, SAT related to the project
• Being capable of performing the tasks by following the approved Engineering process documents
• Assisting customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables

Your background:-

• Minimum 10 to 15 years’ of overall experience with minimum 6 years experience in Automation world either through engineering, commissioning, testing of automation systems
• Experience in HMI/Application Development and experience in S plus is added advantage
• Sound knowledge of engineering, commissioning, and testing of DCS and instrumentation
• Knowledge of structural and functional architecture of control systems.
• Working experience in Power plants (Thermal / Solar / Hydro / Gas)
• Working experience of closed loop control system for Power Plant applications and working knowledge on interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.)
• A B.E/ B. Tech in Electronics and/or Electrical or Instrumentation from a reputed university.
