Senior Manager (Sustainability)

DNV’s Supply Chain and Product Assurance group in India is seeking to fill the role of Senior Manager – Sustainability.  This position shall be based out of Multiple location (Mumbai or Delhi or Bangalore or Calcutta) and shall require travel in connection to consulting/audit engagements as and when required in the space of sustainability. For the time being, there may be some travel restrictions on account of the on-going pandemic.

We’re recruiting customer care focused Sustainability Specialist with consulting experience in the domain of ESG and Sustainability to join in our Sustainability, Assessment & Assurance team to help us achieve our vision and goals. This is an exciting opportunity to take an active role supporting the delivery of projects and ensuring service excellence for clients.  We help clients implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment and progress towards sustainability. You will get the opportunity to work on a wide range of sustainability services primarily focused on Sustainability report assurance, ESG and sustainable finance, supply chain sustainability, sustainability strategy and climate change consulting. While doing this, you will get the opportunity to engage with many of the region’s leading companies and brands across a wide range of sectors for delivering sustainability services.

What You’ll Do:-

You will be expected to support the delivery for a range of sustainability services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including:

• Sustainability Report Assurance
• ESG, green bonds & sustainable finance consulting
• Digital Assurance including digitally enabled supply chain solutions for transparency, track and trace
• Supply chain sustainability & risk management
• Climate change
• Corporate Social Responsibility
• Decarbonization, TCFD, CDP, ScBTi, etc.
• Sustainability strategy

You will be expected to support projects and help ensure consistent and high-quality customer care through the following activities:-

• Proactively seeking to identify customer needs throughout the course of delivering sustainability solutions
• Developing tailored solutions with our technical experts to ensure that we can effectively support our customers in their ESG objectives
• Coordinating projects, ensuring they are executed to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards
• Leading and communicating effectively within the other sustainability team members and clients
• This role will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and care through effective delivery of project deliverables, maintaining project timelines, and responding to customer needs.

Qualifications And Experience:-

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; and preferably with post graduate qualification in engineering and or management;
• Proven track record with approx. 15 years or more in the space of ESG/sustainability, which a minimum of 10 years should be in delivering consulting and or audit services as a trusted advisor and thought leader;
• Willingness to travel and work at client sites within India and on occasions at overseas locations, depending on the requirement of the job;
• Proven project management, design and delivering service excellence;
• Entrepreneurial drive to proactively initiate new initiatives, grow from a small base and operate under quick experimentation high ambiguity environment; and
• We conduct a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
