Job Description

We are looking for an Outside Sales Sr Manager with a broad experience within power industry and automation projects for Renewable Business especially wind for PWS on Pan India Basis, reporting to the Vertical Leader Green Filed Business for SYSS. Candiate will be Primarily looking for wind business (Ovation Green), however as we move ahead we will be try to explore other markets especially Solar, Green Hydrogen etc which will also come under this job profile. Candidate will be based out of our Chennai office

Responsibilities:-

  • Lead generating activities
  • Lead clarifications
  • Opportunity Management
  • Customer relationship management
  • Elaboration and management of proposals and quotations
  • Contract negotiations
  • Provide market research (hereunder input to yearly Sales budget)
  • Owning of Induvial booking /Regions POR/ Target.
  • Preparing optimum techno commercial quote in consultation with proposals team within defined period.
  • Technical presentations and Demos at customer locations.
  • Work ethically in compliance with Emerson standards.
  • Work as an individual contributor and as a team member and gel with the existing team

For This Role, You Will Need:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • A minimum 15-20 years of relevant work experience in technical sales and solution sales for Wind and Solar markets.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent Communication, presentation, interpersonal and prioritization skills; well-organized and detail oriented.
  • Excels at self-managing workload and implementing multiple concurrent projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization to meet milestones.
  • Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Ability to deal with conflicting priorities from internal stakeholders and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to manage these effectively.
  • Understanding of customer need and translating it into technical solution.
