Senior Lead Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation

Responsibilities:-

• Prepare basic / detailed engg. documents for Electrical & instrumentation.
• Plan & coordinate for technical inputs with proactiveness to meet the project schedules.
• Design Calculation for Electrcial design & Cable sizing using latest calculation tools
• Shall be able to achieve schedule and complete the deliverables with quality.
• Shall contribute to the technical development (of design/people) in the work area.
• Short travels to site/customer place for site supervision/ technical meetings / support for commisioning & PG Test of equipments.
• Should coordinate with customer / consultant independently on drawing / document approval.
• Preparation/Review of various Electrical / Instrumentation specifications (MV/LV Panel, Transformers, PMCC, IMCC, VFD, MV/LV Motors, Local control panels, Instruments, Electro Mech products, etc.) to meet the project/contractual requirements.
• Review/approval of various electrical / Instrumentation vendor documents meeting the  project/contractual requirements.
• Shall proactively collect, update & monitor the KPI data to meet timeliness.
• A team player actively participates in team building activities & motivate others in the team.
• Shall focus on continuous improvement initiatives & implement them in the process.
• Shall be able to contribute for improving on engineering efficiency.

Qualification / Experience:-

• B.E (EEE; ECE; E&I) / 8 to 12 Years
• Experience in basic / detailed engg. in preparing the Electrical and Instrumentation deliverables like Load List, SLD, Transformer/cable sizing calculations, Instrument list, IO List, Cable interconnections, Control system interlocking diagrams, Cable Schedule, Electrical MTO’s & BOQ’s, Instrument hook-ups, Instrument location, Instrument datasheet, JB grouping, Design & review of Cable route/Earthing/Lighting, Review of vendor offer and Electro-mechanical documents, Review of E&I vendor drawings,  Selection of equipments/ instruments etc for Mineral processing products / Projects.
• Experience in review of P&ID drawings.
• Experience in Panel Layout and JB Layout drawings.
• Experience in site support for E&I equipment installation/ commissioning in process industries.
• Conversant with AutoCAD 2D / 3D tools / MS Office & other latest engineering tools
• Proficient Knowledge on Engg. Standards. (IEC / NEMA / CSA / IS & other relevant ‘s for global projects)
• Preferred Knowledge on FLSmidth products/equipment’s & Various Mining/Minerals equipment’s.
• Conceptual thinking & problem-solving ability.
• Proactive & good team player with good communication skills.
