Senior Engineer – Services Engineering

The Services Engineering team within GE Renewable Energy Onshore Wind is responsible for the development, implementation, and lifecycle support of new product offerings, return to service programs, and strategic projects in support of our growing Services business.  We are seeking talented engineers with a passion to make a difference to provide technical leadership and expertise in a variety of positions.  In this role, you can expect to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment where the primary mission is to help our customers improve the performance of their wind turbines throughout the lifecycle.

Role & Responsibilities:-

• Develop and support product/service offerings through all phases of product development, from requirements definition through design and development, validation, and product lifecycle support
• Execute the design, evaluation, or testing of assigned projects using sound engineering practices and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements
• Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiences
• Demonstrate effective risk identification, mitigation strategy, and execution on current/future Services products
• Support site failure investigations and correction, supplier qualification/deviation disposition and GE manufacturing on all technical issues related services offerings.
• Drive simplification and standardization of best practices into engineering analyses, validation, and design execution
• Establish design strategies, contribute to multi-generation product and technology plans
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Engineering or closely related field.
