Senior Engineer-Quality

The role is to support the DC DIVISION by fulfilling Ele /Mech construction Quality Assurance & Control requirements for various projects from engineering, procurement, execution, maintenance etc.

Responsibilities:-

• Prepare Quality plan includes work method statements, construction methodologies, checklists, test plans and associate documentations considering the project requirements.
• Review venders Quality plan and take approvals from concerned or client representatives by ensuring the compliances of project QA & QC requirements.
• Coordination with consultants and other stakeholders on QA & QC fronts.
• Periodic Quality inspection of construction activities during pre-dispatch, receipt at site, installation etc.
• Ensure that the right sequence of activities is followed at site and obtain concerned approvals on deviations if any.
• Imparting training, induction, pep talks to workmen, supervisors and engineers on Quality aspects.
• Record observations and non-conformances including analysis & closing of NCR.
• Prepare monthly Quality MIS is sent to HO duly reviewed and validated from Project Director.
• Complying and implementing documentation requirements of DC division
• Ensure records of snagging & de-snagging and give clearance when offered by execution team.
• Continual improvement on Quality system by implementing RCA, CA&PA.
• Ensure 100% compliances of pre-defined Quality governance system at organization level.
• Familiar with MEP and testing & commissioning works while interfacing the execution of works.
• ASNT -II certified for Mech will add value

Qualifications And Experience:-

An ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

• Diploma / Graduate in elec./ mech Engineering from a well-recognized institution.
• 7-14 years of experience in Quality domain of Engineering, Product, Project, Processes etc.
• QA&QC In-charges should act as a Catalyst & Customer’s Representative at Projects.
• Well conversant with applicable, project specific, national and international standards.
• Sound in preparing the Quality documentations, manual, formats etc. as suitable.
• Good knowledge of analyzing NC’s, RCA, CA, PA and its associate documentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must, also excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
• Team Player with ability to work in ambiguous environment, self-starter.
• Ability to evaluate and understand policy and regulatory framework.
• Ability to work in multi-culture, multi-disciplinary environment.
