Job Description
- Get part of innovative product development team involved in end-to-end product development for global market.
- Self-motivated & own the full product development process including concept, product specifications, design, supplier specifications, product validation, and production launch.
- Convert ideas/concepts into workable models/proof of concepts.
- Carry out prior verification of ideas/ concepts by analytical calculations, sketches, 3D modelling,
- Validate the designs thru prototyping, testing and analysis
- Prepare detail designs, drawings, and Bill of materials.
- Shall have good understanding of DFMEA, DFMA, Tolerance Stack up & GD&T.
- Maintain deliverable quality.
- Release the BOM and handle BOM changes in ERP systems- Oracle.
- Use Creo 3.0 or latest version for 3D modelling and drawings.
- Communicate day-to-day work with technical leads, project in charge & team members
- Participate in cross-function project meetings with global team members for regular status update.
- Use our global lab facilities’ testing capabilities to validate product designs against requirements.
Qualification And Experience:-
- BE /ME Mechanical /ME Design
- 5+ years’ experience hand on experience in new product design and development of industrial products (Electromechanical). Candidate must have hands on experience of designing & developing of plastic, castings, Sheetmetal parts.
- Shall have good understanding of product validation & manufacturing technologies.
- Experience of working in global engineering development environment
- Experience of electrical Low voltage Plugs, Sockets, Local Control Stations, Rotary Switches, Push button switches for industrial and hazardous locations; optimizing our designs to create better solutions for our customers.
- Knowledge of international certification standards like UL, IEC, CSA, CE compliances is an added advantage.
