Senior Engineer Mechanical Design

To develop the mechanical part, of future products and contribute to the continuous improvements of current product with: –

• Knowledge and applying international norms,
• following principles of drawing practices,
• Conformity of machine design and guidelines to safety standards

Responsibilities:-

• Concept development, creation of 2D and 3D draft (Catia); Calculation of pre-design
• Independently design the sub-assemblies for the machines
• Designing parts for ease of manufacturing. Apply design to cost criteria.
• Selection of mechanical company standard parts, electrical actuators and feedback elements
• Creation of 3D parts and assemblies.
• Creation of assembly drawings in collaboration with production engineering
• Creation of BOMs (bill of material) in SAP
• Update of documents and managing of engineering changes (modifications)
• Assist and provide solutions to assembly problems.

Education and Experience:-

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7 to 10 Years of experience in machine design.

Critical Skills and Personal Attributes:-

• Experience in working on machine design projects, packaging machines domain Or automotive industry.
• Good communication skills. Creative on concept development.
• Good knowledge in 3D modelling on CATIA V5/V6 or any other leading CAD tool
• Knowledge on using SAP software preferable.
• Autonomous. Also, capable to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic knowledge on machine documentation.
• Knowledge on DFMA
• Good Problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of electrical components.
