Senior Engineer – HSE Design

Job Responsibilities:-

• Work with project, customer and vendor representatives to resolve technical issues.
• Familiarization of HSE software tools, their applications and output.
• Assign engineers in accordance to areas of specialization.  Monitor and track man-hours, ensure actual man-hours are within budgeted costs.
• Prepare Manpower schedules and Manpower Plans and advise Discipline Manager on manpower requirements
• Organize and participate in project safety reviews like HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL, PHSER etc.
• Review of various modeling results.
• Assure technical & presentation quality of the reports.
• Preparation of assessment reports & study reports, shutdown & blow down philosophies.
• Provide safety inputs in the preparation and evaluation of Plot Plans
• Promote initiatives to improve cost effectiveness & productivity on project / proposal.
• Lead independently a major project / proposal.
• Manage design change within the project schedule.
• Preparation of project progress reports through the updates of information on the PETROCEPTS software tool. Coordinate Internal and Client audit requests; facilitate audit procedures of engineering systems within the department.
• Assist Discipline Supervisor in employee performance evaluation and training needs for immediate subordinates.
• Perform related duties as and when directed by Discipline Manager

Minimum Requirement:-

• Bachelor degree in engineering with a minimum 7 years’ experience in risk & safety engineering or 10 years’ experience in loss prevention & safety engineering.
• The experience shall be in front end & EPC environment in oil & gas industry
