Senior Engineer Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities:-

• Review the tender documents and prepare proposal defining scope and deviations
• Perform FEED for the contract (Front End Engineering Design)
• Design the power distribution arrangement for the cement plant process and utility equipment meeting international standards (IEC/ IEEE/ ANSI)
• Select and size the motor & drive systems for the cement plant equipment
• Perform basic engineering and design calculations like Single line diagram, design calculation for the sizing of Cable, transformer, Battery, UPS, DG, Capacitor, VFD, Motors, CT & PT, Switchgear
• Prepare the purchase specifications, review supplier offers and documents/ drawings for the electrical equipment like MV/LV Switchgears, MCC, Transformers, Motors, Rotor starters and variable frequency drives
• Perform network analysis & relay coordination in ETAP Software
• Coordinate with other functions within engineering and with other functions like SCM, Project management, vendors

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in Electrical engineering
• 10 + years’ experience in detail engineering of EPC Projects of large process plants preferably Cement/Minerals plants
• Experienced in working for international projects and in multi-cultural environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of various international standards – IEC, IS, NEMA, IEEE
• Hands on experience on Software tools is must– ETAP
