Senior Engineer – Construction & Tool Management

The Senior Engineer – Construction & Tool management will be based in Hyderabad. In this position, you will report to the HOD-Construction. In this position, He/She will be responsible for maintenance, Inventory control, consumable/spare management of Huck tools, providing site training to EPC & Client for Huck Tools operation and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:-

• Maintenance, Inventory control, consumable/spare management of Huck tools, providing site training to EPC & Client for Huck Tools operation and preventative maintenance.
• Provide training on Tracker installation to Site team/EPC/appointed contractor. First Row (Golden row) will be installed for practical training once the Tracker material and Huck Tools are available at site.
• Randomly checking tracker installation on routine basis and inform the deviations to client/site team
• representatives to rectify. If the deviation is not rectified, NX shall raise Construction Deviation Report (CDR) and submit to Client/site team.
• Based on Global installation and continuous R&D, NX may notify any improvement in Tracker installation activity through Technical Bulletin (TBN) for implementation.
• On completion of Tracker installation including PV modules (Block wise etc), NX will randomly sample check the 10% trackers for installation correctness vide Checklist OPS-000054 and will inform the deviation to Installation contractor/client/site team for rectification.
• During installation if any defective material is found, NX shall check and prepare Return Material Authorization
• (RMA) (NX internal process) and arrange the replacement of Faulty material. If any further investigation of the defect is required, NX shall ship the faulty material back to factory with the help of Client/site team.
• Once completion of Tracker installation, NCU, Wind sensor, Snow sensor and associated auxiliaries in all respect, NX to carry out Cold and Hot commissioning of Trackers by NX Cx site engineer.
• Field safety training and exhibit safe conduct while onsite and in the office.
• Any other duties as assigned by HOD-Construction.

Qualification And Experience:-

• B-Tech (Electrical/E&C/Mechanical with 6-7 years’ experience in Solar/tracker installation and commissioning with strong engineering, tool O&M & installations experience and the ability to manage installation teams, subcontractors and other sources.
• Flexible to travel
• Good communication skills.
