Senior Engineer – Civil & Structural

Supervise and Lead a team of engineers and designers in carrying out detailed engineering work for Medium to small sized Offshore projects assuming entire responsibility for conceptual and detailed design and provide necessary technical information for procurement in compliance with tender specifications, within budgeted man-hour and project schedules.

Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil with a minimum of 9 – 12 years (Minimum of 6 years offshore) with experience related to Offshore Oil & Gas ( Fixed Offshore Installations ) / Offshore Substation Structures ( HVAC or HVDC platforms ).
• Master’s Degree will be an advantage.
• Background in working for consultancy or Engineering organizations in the EPC sector is preferable.
• Work experience on at least One EPC project in lead position is desirable.
• Hands on experience of SACS/SESAM or equivalent is a must.
• Knowledge of USFOS, GRLWEAP, MOSES etc will be an added advantage.

Essential Skills:-

•  Ability to prepare the structural design basis
• Static structural analysis, Steel basic detailing, Calculation Reports, Structural design of members and joints; Design of connections, pad eyes, trunnions, sea fasteners, grillage and barge strengthening etc.
• Knowledge of both SACS and SESAM and ability to analyse the results
• Knowledge of In place, Load out, Sea transportation analyses, Offshore lift of jacket and topsides, modules.
• Basic Knowledge of Pile soil interaction, Pile makeup and drivability, Pile sequencing, Shallow foundation designs, On bottom studies, Pile lift and Upending analysis, Selection of hammers.
• Liaision with the certification authority to get the approval on the design basis and the analysis.
