Senior Electrical Designer

• Preparation of drawings and documentation as directed by Group Head, the Lead Engineer or Designer including MTO’s schedules etc. where applicable.
• Correct the drawings based on comments made on check prints by the Lead Engineer or Lead Designer.
• Apply his technical knowledge to ensure that a consistently high standard is maintained.
• Ensure that all work is in compliance with Company Standards and good engineering practices
• Maintain contact with draughtsmen in other Groups to ensure
  • that other Design Groups are acquainted with the Group’s requirements which affect them
  • that interface areas are adequately covered.
• Knowledge in E3D software is a must

Education:-

• A Diploma in either Electrical engineering discipline or a certificate in Drafting trade

Experience:-

• 12 to 15 years in Design Office preferably with Consultant/Contractor, preferably with the following experience
• Designing and drafting of power, earthing, lighting layouts, single line diagrams, etc.  Preparation of material take-off schedules.
