Job Description

Based in Søborg, you will become a part of the Automation Development team, which is responsible for the development of advanced control systems and IoT solutions for all Alfa Laval core products. As our new Senior Electronics Engineer, you will own the IoT edge device product in an Agile environment throughout the whole product lifecycle.

The main tasks will be:-

  • Prepare, validate the IoT edge devices specification & testing.
  • Built in IoT device strategy anticipating 2~3-year future trend to develop.
  • Build network internally & external to share knowledge in IoT edge devices
  • Participate in quality, peer review process.
  • Cross site collaboration in our Device

What you know:-

  • Electrical or electronics Engineering degree, Preferable > 10 year of experience in the similar field
  • IoT hardware selection, prototyping, simulating & Provisioning.
  • Good understanding of EMI/EMC knowledge & compliances.
  • Edge device operating system (like Ubuntu, Debian or Yocto, Linux based OS,) to use them during the simulation, provisioning.
  • Different Cloud application knowledge.
  • Different provisioning scripts (C#, .Net Framework language.)
  • Understanding of SSH, User management & security.
  • Understanding on the Storage, firmware
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
