Senior Designer

Responsibilities:-

• The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support in creation of manufacturing drawings of component for new and/or existing products, in accordance with the set international standards for Piston Pump and motors to meet customer specific requirement of power products in mobile & industrial hydraulics platforms & applications. The primary responsibility also includes the life cycle management of design data within global ERP system.
• Familiar with Engineering change management process and execution of changes thru PLM or any other system.
• Use 3D modelling skills for building/updating existing models and creation of detailed manufacturing drawings. Overall understanding of manufacturing processes is essential.
• Awareness of engineering standards like ASME / ISO related to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T), Checklists, etc.
• Proficiency in Pro-E WF 3.0 /5.0 and AutoCAD will be added advantage.
• Maintain effective communications both verbal & written with customer, team members and cross functional departments.
• Adheres to design standards and procedures governing documents/drawings and data control for the associated business group.
• Self-Studies the problems, issues, concerns, improvements around design and provide recommendations for changes and obtains the approval for changes from engineers.
• Candidate should be self-driven with capability to work with project team with minimal supervision. High quality and adherence to the EATON standards.

Qualifications And Experiences:-

Requirement:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering fresher or with <1 years of experience in design and product development.
• Familiar with Engineering change management process and execution of changes thru PLM or any other system.
• Use 3D modelling skills for building/updating existing models and creation of detailed manufacturing drawings. Overall understanding of manufacturing processes is essential.

• Knowledge of piston pumps and motor design will be added advantage.
• Good on technical coaching & mentoring on day to day basis to designers.
• Training ability in GD&T and stack up etc.
• Knowledge on ASME drafting practices.
• Individual must be highly motivated professional with technical decision making capability, good communication skills and adaptable to working with various product teams.
