Senior Analyst – Financial Risk Management & Compliance

Duties & responsibilities:-

• Perform examination and review of financial records, reports, management controls, policies and practices affecting/reflecting the financial condition and operations results.
• Maintain effective communications with your Manager, members of the Client Finance team, and other members of the IAS team
• Capability to perform a review and interpret data to formulate a conclusion and communicate effectively.
• Perform a review and tests of compliance (SOCR, SOX and JLL Processes) of month-end financial close packages to ensure timely and accurate financials
• Insure that all bank statements are reconciled on a timely basis and follow-up on all outstanding checks and reconciling items monthly.

Performance objectives:-

• Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
• Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions

Key skills:-

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal.
• Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications with ability to quickly learn systems and processes (JD Edwards experience a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce & accounting
• 3-4 years of accounting experience required; experience in financial analysis or audit (internal or external) with emphasis on financial audits and internal controls testing a plus
