Senior Analyst Energy Research

We are looking for an energetic individual to take the responsibility of conducting primary and secondary research to support the development of research and analytical solutions for our clients in the renewable and gas/LNG Industries

Responsibilities:-

• Conduct detailed market study to analyze the latest market trends in the energy sector, with a primary focus on cleantech sector assessments, and track competitor’s activities and provide valuable inputs for solution development and bespoke studies.
• Establish analytical infrastructure and conduct macro analysis including the assessment of the energy value chain, and implications for the future of the industry.
• Develop Solar, Wind, hybrid power generation models for energy yield calculations
• Thoroughly understands the emerging clean-tech market, its value-chains, technologies, players, regulatory environment, key drivers and inhibitors; adept at identifying and suggesting opportunities / solutions that resonate with client’s sustainability vision and strategy.
• Ability to think ideas with actionable options, create new customized solutions and models, coneptualize innovative platforms and tools and create impactful reports, thought starter and presentations to complement the sustainability goals of the clients.
• Identify practical, timely and innovative research approaches; evaluates data quality.
• Assist in the write-ups on the commercial, economic, and regulatory aspects of the industry.
• Perform secondary research, including literature reviews, internet research, document review and database review for all forms of energy sources and related infrastructure.

Requirements:-

• University degree from a reputed institute with 3-5 years of research experience. Master’s degree will be an additional advantage.
• Exceptional analytical, mathematical, problem solving and presentation skills.
• Excellent MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel skills
• Proficiency in PvSyst and WindPro /WAsP/Windographer
• Excellent knowledge of verbal and written English.
• Ability to manage 5-6-member (mentoring) team and ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner.
