Hitachi Energy is currently looking for Sales Specialist for the Transformers Business to join their team in Halol, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.

The candidate will have excellent communications skills.

Mission Statement:-

  • Formulating bids/offers that address customer needs and offering efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate formulation of tender/offer/quotation documents through coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing all aspects of the bid/offer — including technical, financial, product management and risk reviews.
  • Coordinating with Supply Chain to identify potential suppliers for equipment and materials, through regular analysis of customer needs and market trends.

Responsibilities:-

  • To maintain enquiry register to record all enquires with current status.
  • Timely submission of offers to customer against their enquiry, keep reducing lead time of Enquiry to offer.
  • All projects/ Jobs to be entered in Insulation kit configurator tool to generate offer with material cost, Overheads, other fixed cost and variable costs etc.
  • Cross check outcome of Kit configurator and verify before submitting to customer.
  • Prepare Full cost model (FCM) in issued format by Finance.
  • Follow up for Orders from customer and on receipt the same to be handed over to Project management with all required details to create sale order.
  • Responsible to send order acknowledgment to customers against purchase orders.
  • Preparation of monthly/Quarterly/Year order forecast and time to time review against budget & target.
  • Regular meetings with customers for close co-ordination to build strong business relation to ensure smooth operations.
  • Updating changes in Kit configurator when & as required to meet business requirements.
  • Quick resolution of customer complaints by co-ordination with all stack holders and focus of customer satisfaction.

Qualification and Experience:-

  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science. Sales & Marketing Certification will be added advantage
  • 5-10 yrs of experience in transformer industry.
  • Experience in Tendering, Technical review, Engineering Drawing reading & Understanding, Experience for insulation components, in ERP – SAP or other, E-procurement portal,
  • Negotiation skill, Proficiency in computer, decent in Microsoft excel and word, Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
