Sales Executive / Sr. Executive – Solar Generation Ganesh Green Bharat Limited Ahmedabad, Gujarat Job Posted : Mar 3rd, 2025 Job Description A Solar Sales Executive in the solar industry is responsible for identifying potential customers, assessing their energy needs, presenting customized solar solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing sales to achieve individual and team sales targets, while maintaining strong customer relationships and staying updated on industry trends and regulations; key duties include lead generation, site visits, proposal creation, and technical product knowledge to effectively sell solar panels, inverters, and related services to residential, commercial, or industrial clients Key Responsibilities:- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Actively source new leads through networking, cold calling, online platforms, and market research. Identify potential customers within assigned territory based on energy consumption patterns and suitability for solar installations. Customer Engagement and Site Assessment: Conduct site visits to evaluate potential customer properties for solar system feasibility, including roof analysis, energy usage assessment, and system design. Present detailed solar solutions, explaining the benefits of solar energy and customized system configurations. Proposal Development and Sales Process: Prepare comprehensive proposals including system specifications, cost breakdowns, ROI calculations, and financing options. Negotiate pricing and contract terms with potential customers to close sales. Address customer concerns and objections regarding solar technology and installation process. Relationship Building and Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales cycle, providing ongoing support and addressing post-sale inquiries. Manage customer expectations and ensure smooth project implementation. Market Knowledge and Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest solar technology advancements, government incentives, and market trends to optimize sales strategies. Analyze competitor activity and identify opportunities to differentiate offerings Educational Background:- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Further preferable in Master’s degree in Construction Management / Project Management Relevant experience in sales, preferably within the renewable energy sector Knowledge of the local area and language (Gujarati, Hindi & English). Required Skills:- Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, including components, installation processes, and energy production calculations. Sales Acumen: Proven track record in achieving sales targets, effective negotiation skills, and ability to handle objections. Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication abilities to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
