Job Description

Cepheid Customer Care India is looking for Repair Center Manager to lead a team in allocating workload and managing the day to day operations in the repair center. This role will also work with other support function leads like Technical Support Center, Service coordination, Customer Care Operations and Field service teams to provide a backbone to support activities in region. This individual will be responsible to drive projects and optimize the process, productivity within Repair center to increase efficiency and meet the demands of Installed base in country. In this critical role, you will have the opportunity to lay the roadmap for building on the capacity, including system enhancements, and continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities:-

  • Planning and monitoring work within the repair center using available tools and innovative approach to meet regional demand
  • Ensure full optimized utilization of manpower and resources to achieve planned productivity, quality targets
  • Lead the RC operations fully and mentor the team to drive results , improve efficiency and focus on building team and knowledge enriching sessions.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders / vendors for procurement as needed to ensure smooth functioning of repair center facility.
  • Evaluate performance of RC engineers and ensure proper training needs are assessed for existing associates and actual training for the newly recruited associates.
  • Developing Key performance metrics for team and establishing processes to monitor and achieve those metrics.
  • Create Manual or Automated reports for Leaders and cross departmental dependency.
  • Providing effective feedback and guidance to the team members
  • Ensuring good & safe working practices in repair center with compliance to the Company’s policies and local authorities and laws.
  • Establish high quality and efficiency within the repair center team and Lead the team .
  • Work closely with cross functional teams within India and on WW basis
  • Insist on high standards by driving employees to clear performance objectives in support of an excellent customer experience.
  • Constantly work to build the best team, through use of all available Company tools and effective resourcing of talent
  • Follow the compliance & regulatory guidelines strictly
  • Be an advocate of CEPHEID & DANHER core values with key stakeholders in the region

Training Responsibilities:-

  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.

Qualifications And Experiences:-

  • B. Tech /M. Tech + MBA in Biomedical, Electronics or Biotechnology is desirable
  • 8+ years’ experience in technical service/ repair center management role with direct team leading experience of at least 3 years
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and working within research / clinical environments

Knowledge and skills:-

  • Excellent communication skills and technical presentation skills for group and one-on-one presentations
  • Advanced MS skills , IT skills with role based requirements
  • Have the experience of Managing and Leading a team
  • Knowledge of CRM based software’s like salesforce and SAP ERP is must
  • Have experience in P/L management, cost analysis, analytics, business productivity and customer support.

Physical requirements/abilities:-

  • Must be able to lift 16Kg.

Other:-

  • Travel: Only in case of urgencies
  • Flexible to work in shifts as and when required
