Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna Company and India’s Premier Professional Electronics Company under Ministry of Defence, requires the following personnel on contract basis for its Naval Systems SBU, Bengaluru Complex and Sonar Development & Support Centre –Kochi.

3.    TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT & REMUNERATION:-

• Project Engineer will be engaged initially for a period of THREE years which may be extended up to maximum of ONE year (Maximum tenure of 4 years) based on project requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration per month of Rs.40,000/-, 45,000/-, Rs.50,000/- and Rs.55,000/- for the 1st  , 2nd  , 3rd  and 4th year of contract respectively.
• In addition to the consolidated remuneration indicated above, consolidated amount of Rs.12,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance etc. in two equal installments. First installment will be processed in the first month’s salary after joining and the second installment will be paid after completion of 6 months from the date of joining.

4.    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-

• Candidates should have obtained 55% & above in the indicated qualification for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST and PwBD candidates.
• Candidate must possess all years / semester marks sheet and degree certificate. (In case of CGPA grading, conversion certificate to substantiate the claim shall be attached and has to be indicated in the application form.
• In case there is no mention of specialization in the qualifying degree as required in the minimum essential educational qualification, candidates required to submit a certificate at the time of interview from their University/Institute with a clear mention to their specialization in the qualifying degree.
• Candidates having part-time or correspondence course in indicated qualification are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates having indicated qualification with other disciplines will not be considered.

5.    POST QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE (AS ON 01.12.2021):-

Candidates with minimum of 2 years and above relevant post-qualification industrial experience will be eligible to apply for the post of Project Engineer.

5.1    Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred.

(A)    Essential:-

• Cisco network equipment, network troubleshooting and configuration.
• Cisco routers, switches, voice gateways, other networking devices, routing protocols, application services etc.
• Security solutions including firewalls, antivirus solutions, intrusion detection systems
• VOIP and Video conference infrastructure and its associated software including call management systems & voice mails.
• Installations and configuration of hardware / software of HP servers, Storage & Network devices.
• Maintenance of VSAT devices like BUC, MODEM & Antennas.
• Network management solutions: Network fault management, Network performance.
• Network traffic analysis.
• Windows & Linux operating systems
• Oracle database.
• Following cisco certification will be added advantage: –

Cisco Certified Network Analysis (CCNA), Microsoft certified solutions expert (MC SE)

 Desirable:-

• Experience in maintaining data center.
• Cisco Networking devices, HP servers, VSAT networks

For Project Engineer – I, Post Code: PE-I (D&E-CS)

(A)    ELECTRONICS:-

Essential:-

• Minimum one year experience in designing electronic equipment in any electronics industry.
• Work experience in embedded system design & RF communication systems.

(B)    MECHANICAL:-

Essential:-

• Minimum one year experience in designing electronic equipment in any electronics industry.
• Work experience in Mechanical design using auto cad or any 3D modelling software.

Desirable:-

• Familiarity with ay ERP systems.
• Ready to work in shifts and travel anytime for supporting installation activities.

For Project Engineer – I, Post Code: PE-I (SDSC):-

(A)    COMPUTER SCIENCE:-

Essential:-

• Programming in C/C++ with QT frame work.
• Experience in object Oriented Programming, UML diagrams
• Basic understanding of LINUX & Windows OS.
• Knowledge of network tools/ Socket Programming
• Familiarity with software engineering process.

Desirable:-

• Experience in software development for embedded systems.
• Experience in IV & V.
• Experience in IEEE-Std-12207 software documentation.

5.2    Please note the following:-

• Candidate applying for Project Engineer, should possess the requisite number of years and hands-on post qualification experience as mentioned at point 5.1.
• One year completed Apprenticeship training will be considered as experience.
• The Cut-off date for deciding the maximum permissible age and experience (Post Qualification Experience) shall be as 01.12.2021. In order to compute post qualification experience starting from the month immediately succeeding the month of final examination in which candidate acquire the essential educational qualification shall be considered. Wherever specific relevant experience is prescribed, Experience certificates / Document issued by the employer clearly indicating the specific area of experience should be enclosed.
• Academic / Teaching experience / Research work/ will not be considered as relevant work experience.
• Candidate should possess Experience certificates/Documents issued by the previous and present employer clearly indicating period of employment and post held.
• Candidates are required to enclose a separate write up describing the relevant post qualification experience gained/held by them.

6.    MODE OF SELECTION:-

• Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement w.r.t. Qualification and Experience will be accepted.
• A merit list will be prepared, based on the aggregate percentage obtained in BE/B Tech/ B Sc. Engg -4 years course and relevant work experience will be allotted weightage as indicated below:

1. 7. Non Creamy Layer Certificate for OBC candidates issued on or after 01.07.2021.
8. The Caste / EWS / Disability Certificate should be strictly in the format available on the BEL website failing which, candidates will be considered under ‘General’ category, provided they are otherwise meeting all other criteria stipulated for General Candidates.
9. ‘No Objection Certificate’ if employed in PSU / Government / Quasi Government and Public Sector undertakings.
10. Experience Certificate/s: relevant Post qualification work experience certificate/s from previous / current employer. Where current employment certificate is not produced, the Offer of current appointment, Employee ID proof and latest pay slip should be compulsorily attached as a proof for our verification.
