R&D Engineer – HMI development

Responsibilities:-

• Responsible for developing PC based desktop applications & products.
• Participating in product requirement workshop to understand the product development requirements and performs software-focused development activities on system/product projects, including design, coding and unit testing of software modules in line with the quality management system.
• Developing and maintaining new and adapted design of software modules, system setups and system integration.
• Maintaining the test defect logs captured during the development and testing of the assigned product.
• Partnering well with a variety of different product stakeholder groups, including management at different levels, business analysts and developer’s community.
• Responsible to ensure the mutual consistency and efficient integration of the several subsystems in modular.
• easy-to-maintain and extendible software that meets the product specification.

Qualification And Experience:-

• A BE or B. Tech in Electronics.
• Minimum 3 years to maximum 5 years of experience in Power based Automation industry related with Numerical relay or Energy meter or other electronics product design.
• Expert knowledge in Software Development Process with extensive experience in various design patterns with Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methodologies.
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills, working knowledge on client-server architecture and windows services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Visual C++/ C# in developing PC based desktop applications, MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class Library: C++ object-oriented library for developing desktop applications for Windows).
• Expert knowledge of Design patterns, multithreading, events and delegates.
• Good at Code Analysis, Debug, Unit test, Profiling and other SW development tools.
• Good to have exposure to Tools like TFS, Enterprise Architect, Visual Studio 2015, GIT (used on TFS), VSS (Visual Source Safe).
