QA Automation Engineer

This position is accountable and responsible for automated regression, E2E, and performance system testing.

Key Responsibilities include:-

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Utilise Jira cards and the Jira board to determine daily tasks
• Participate in code reviews
• Participate in daily standups
• Provide input into standards and processes (continuous improvement)
• Interface with engineers and disciplines to complete assigned tasks
• Maintain project documentation including Build and deployment process
• Ability and willingness to travel, as required.  Estimated at up to 10%.
• Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the company and facility HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.
• When delegated, must be able to assume a lead technical role over other engineers or project subgroups for completing specific tasks.
• As applicable, must be able to perform or assist in the performance of problem root cause analysis and lessons learned.
• As required , must be able to assist in on-the-job-training and mentoring of assigned personnel.
• Must be able to make technical presentations
