Purchasing Project Management

• PPX Function Managing Projects for products of ED in India according to K2-K5 Process.
• Categorize parts, derive holistic Bundling strategy (e.g. Part families, Material, Clusters).
• Internal cooperation with PMQ, PURxy, PQT and PQA colleagues.
• Based on bundling, derive lean VQP and release strategy with M/PMQ function.
• Execute Sourcing of Components (PILUM, Technical Supplier Discussion, Technical & Commercial feasibility confirmation, Risk assessment etc.).
• Prepare safe Launch (quality, timeline, capacity, …).
• Support for alternate source development (Risk Management).
• Global co-ordination for relocation/transfer projects.
• Conduct periodic and structured reviews with the CFT and steer the project towards timely completion.
• Conduct idea generation workshops to identify cost savings potentials through Design RPP, Standardization, Supplier optimization etc.

Qualifications And Experiences:-

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, IPE/IEM.
• Professional experience in Purchasing, Manufacturing, Project Management and Quality desired.
• 8-10 years of experience in Purchasing/Engineering/Manufacturing/Logistics.
• Knowledge of the Product development process as well as technical manufacturing processes and cost calculations desired.
• Good MS Office, SAP and knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage.
• High degree of goal and result orientation.
• Communication skills, teamwork, flexibility, and assertiveness.
• Independent and structured way of working.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• German knowledge would be an advantage.
