Proposals Electrical and Control Systems Engineer (Battery Energy Storage System)

• You will be responsible for the proposal for electrical & control systems for Battery Energy Storage Solutions.
• The position will be based in Gurgaon, India, in the global challenging technical environment in the LRE Proposals, Global Customer Operations, Electrical & Control Systems department.
• You will have to closely coordinate with the LRE Proposals Electrical & Control Systems department in Erlangen, Germany for Storage Solutions. Majority of the tasks will be in Proposal’s activities but may extend to Customer Projects support.

Responsibilities:-

• Responsible for component design for electrical systems, battery storage systems, Power Conditioning Systems (PCS) and Protection system, switch gear, transformer , Power Control Centers (PCCs) from concept to Detail Design.
• Responsible for component design for Battery Storage control systems from concept to Detail Design
• The proposal activities will include the definition of offer strategies, the evaluation of customer specifications, the definition of the supply scope and the provision of the technical offer documents as well as the participation on customer meetings.
• You would ensure that the specifications of this engineering function are in accordance to the applicable rules, regulations codes and standards and according to good engineering practice especially with regard to Environmental aspects and Health & Safety of Site Personal, Operators, Maintenance personnel and third parties.
• Be active in benchmarking knowledge internal / external Siemens Energy. Shall aim to be the one with best knowledge for the control and electrical systems and detailed design.
• Giving & Working on Cost savings ideas.
• You would provide technical assistance to Bid Management / Customer / Strategic Procurement Management / Erection & Commissioning teams.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor/Master’s in Electrical/ Controls Engineering or other comparable degree
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering work experience
• Total Experience of 3 to 10 years
• Ability to travel globally
• Excellent team player to support and serve the global team
• High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities
• Proactive and Solution Oriented. Ability to Pull inputs and interact with interface partners.
• Excellent communication skills, Excellent English language skills
