Job Description

To represent Supply & Category Management in assigned Projects and Sales To do a dual role both as PPM and as one of the Category Purchaser in assigned Projects. In Project Sales phase:

  • Create a total cost-efficient Procurement plan covering all external spend within the assigned project by utilizing supplier base area and utilizing established category strategies while securing that all customer needs/ requirements are taken into consideration.
  • Participate in Cost estimate strategy review meeting by sharing Procurement plan
  • Initiate project specific activities to secure cost data
  • Share new cost data with Cost estimation
  • Estimate S&CM man-hours and expenses

In Project execution phase:-

  • To ensure execution of established procurement plan, based on scope of supply, according to project schedule and within project budget.
  • Continuously report procurement plan status to project management
  • Participate in kick-offs, Project meetings and PULSE meetings and thus to fromally bridge the project with the S&CM Organisation
  • Validate and integrate project scheduling in Procurement plan
  • Distribute procurement activities to Category buyers and communicate Procurement plan to key stakeholders
  • Summarize project info and inform S&CM stakeholders
  • Lead/participate in key supplier negotiations as per supply plan
  • Establish project specific contract templates
  • Monitor project schedule and update Procurement plan if needed
  • Manageand report project procurement and delivery activities
  • Lead Change and Deviation management in Project Procurement Level
  • Do procurement Project closing
  • Proactively share local information with category manager and category teams
  • Give input to Cost of Poor-Quality information
  • Ensure needed logistic and transportation solutions till delivery.
  • Effectively Coordinate within the team & by identifying development activities

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, preferably with MBA.
  • Minimum relevant experience required for this job is 12-16 years & Overall 20 Years Strategic sourcing, Commercial understanding of financial terms including Incoterms.
  • Supplier management and development.
  • Operational & tactical procurement.
  • Planning & organizing, passion fo serving customers and to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Market knowlegde  for Raw Material & Manufacturing Prices, Currency Variations & preferebly MS Office skills  Understanding of technical specification, knowledge of Materials& Specifications Willing to travel (25% – 40% travelling would be required).
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.
