Project Lead Engineer- Hardware Engineering

This is a Project Engineer- Hardware Engineering role, reporting to the Engineering Manager in Business Area – India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in India. You will be primarily responsible to lead and provide best fit technical solutions for customer needs and strive towards making ABB most competitive in the market. Responsibilities:-

• Review of Technical specification of DCS Cabinets and Designing the cabinets to meet the customer specification.
• Design best fit technical solution against customer specifications. Determining most technical appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
• Work with internal and external panel shops performing cabinet fabrication and testing.
• Work in international environments with different cultures and languages and managing stakeholders of varying management levels.
• Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional work experience in Automation Proposals (DCS/ ESD/ FGS) for process industries in any one of the domains like Oil & Gas/ Refineries/ Petrochemicals.
• Experience with the ABB 800xA System is preferred.
• Experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Design, implementation, Test, Installation, Commissioning & Start-up of an Integrated Control & Safety System and Process Power Management (PPM) system.
• Knowledge with engineering tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Eplan, E3 & EBase).
• Having Good knowledge on ABB systems (System 800xA / Symphony Plus) will be an added advantage.
