Project Lead Engineer Electrical / Senior Project Engineer Electrical

You will be working as Project Lead Engineer/ Project Engineer- Electrical and will be part of Process Automation business area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager. You will be primarily responsible for supporting the global business lines in proposal engineering, basic and detail engineering, vendor engineering, power system analysis and commissioning of electrical products and system. With high competence resources, know-how of international systems and standards, plant electrification unit of INOPC is helping business to deliver solutions to the engineering challenges in most optimum way.

Responsibilities:-

• Performing basic and detail engineering activities and providing optimized solutions for the electrical system in industrial projects
• Preparing overall key SLD, Auxiliary AC/ DC SLD & protecting SLD
• Designing calculations including transformer sizing (Power, Distribution and Converter), Battery and UPS sizing, DG sizing, VFD Sizing, earthing calculation, cable sizing, cable tray sizing, lightening calculation, lightening calculation
• Preparing data sheet & specification for all equipment used in industries like transformer, GCB, bus duct, MV switchgear
• (both AIS and GIS), LV Switchgear, Battery/ UPS system, VFD, DG set, cable, cable tray, earthing & lightning, communication equipment’s.
• Detail Engineering – Equipment layout & section, earthing layout design, cable routing / cable tray layout, cable schedule & termination schedule preparation, bus duct layout, lighting layout, lightning layout, switchgear fixing arrangement

• Developing schematics for control and protection panels, synchronizing panels, MV and LV switchgears based on project specific requirement
• Developing of block logic diagram for MV and LV switchgear and preparing of engineering schedule in line with agreed document deliverable list matching engineering portion of project schedule

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience for Project Engineer / 10-15 years of relevant experience for Lead Project Engineer
• Should have worked in atleast 2-4 large size projects as Project Engineer and 4-6 Large size projects as Lead Project
• Engineer out of which at least two project as project lead
• Pre-Bid Engineering, Bid & Proposal exposure is an added advantage
• Proficiency in using design tools like earthing, lighting calculation tools
• Basic knowledge of power system study and network modelling preferred
• Working in a fast-paced environment with short submission deadline
• Strong technical leadership skills, interpersonal skills, effective communication skills
• Commissioning experience of Electrical Equipment’s is preferred
