Project Lead Engineer-Automation

You will be working as Project Lead Engineer-Automation and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries division in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Engineering Manager and will be responsible for technical deliveries in engineering, testing, commissioning & Service of the systems. Should have good knowledge in Metals/Pulp & Paper/Mining/Cement sectors.

Responsibilities:-

• Leading the execution of projects by following the engineering & commissioning workflow as per QMS defined
• Ensuring projects are run on IPM (Integrated Project Management) platform and project KPIs are up-to target and reported regularly as planned
• Ensuring skill set assessment for the project is carried out and right resource mobilization is done
• Preparing, studying and analyzing existing system and lead revamp/retrofit solutions
• Understanding requirements of sub-system and coordinating with other engineering departments in getting it delivered as per application requirement
• Ensuring preparation of technical specifications are in line with project specifications signed with customer
• Performing technical review before document submission to ensure that delivered documents are as per the customer technical specification
• Carrying out technical risk reviews and ensure risks are mitigated with clear actions. escalate to team lead on time

Qualification And Experience:-

• Minimum B.Tech/ B.E/ Diploma from a reputed University with First Class in Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Electronics engineering
• 8+ years of Industry experience
• Basic knowledge on electrical design standards and international standards like IEC, IS etc., is an added advantage
• Capturing customer complaints and timely solution
• Updating reusable solutions, work-around and problems handled into database
• Following safety norms and ensuring safe working environment
