Project Engineer – StandardPlus/OEM

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• You are the general contact person and responsible for planning and follow-up, both technically and financially as well as in the field of documentation and delivery times, both internally and externally.
• You coordinate the project between the various internal functions such as quotation engineers, design department, purchasing, MPC, production, test, document control, shipping and invoicing and between the various external functions, namely customer center, suppliers and control bodies
• Upon receipt of an order, you evaluate the contract description, together with the design department, MPC, document controller and the quotation engineer
• You take care of the processing of the order in BPCS/POLS and dispatch
• You ensure correct and timely communication with the customer
• You are responsible for the quality, safety and budget of the product
• You consult with production the works to be carried out and determine the most efficient approach to execute the order
• You follow up that the correct documents (manuals, bills of materials, certificates, …) are delivered correctly and on time to the customer center
• You validate documents that go to the customer for review/approval

Experience & Knowledge requirements:-

• University degree in Engineering/Technology (Mechanical / Electrical or Instrumentation)
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in Project Management preferably in Rotating Machinery Background
• Sound knowledge of Screw & centrifugal compressors.
• Able to read & understand P&ID, GA, Layouts, Installation, System architect etc
• Knowledge of project (proposal/contract) management
• MS Projects, BPCS, Enovia, MS Office
• Experience with international contractors and Oil & Gas segment is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oil-Free Air products is a plus
