Project Engineer- LCS Service

You will be working as Project Engineer- LCS Service and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing and executing DCS engineering activities in service projects with low to medium complexity, according to standard work instructions, quality standards and safety guidelines. Delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers.

Responsibilities:-

• Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments in projects
• Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of service engineering projects/programs
• Identifying customer (internal or external) requirements, analyze and document as is process and process interfaces, discover process gaps, design to-be integration in collaboration with business resources
• Creating work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost
• Completing risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility
• Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor of degree in instrumentation, electronics and communications engineering
• Require 3 to 8 years of experience in process / safety system predominantly in application engineering, HMI engineering ,3rd party communication, FAT and SAT for process automation in any of the domains like oil and gas / refineries / petrochemicals. Should also have experience in DCS Hardware
• Good to have MOD 300, AC800M, DCS – migrations, modifications, retrofits, upgrades, service and commissioning
• Good knowledge on process /ICSS and safety systems (fire and gas protection systems / emergency shutdown systems)
• Knowledge on IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standards
• Knowledge on brownfield scope of work for DCS – migrations, modifications, retrofits, upgrades, service and commissioning
