Bharat Electronics Limited a Navaratna Company and India‟s premier professional electronics Company under the Ministry of Defence, requires the following personnel on temporary basis for its Military Communication SBU, Bangalore Complex as mentioned below:-

Only those candidates who are willing to be posted to the above location may apply.

NOTE: Number of vacancies may be increased or decreased based on the actual requirement at the discretion of the Management. 4% of the posts will be reserved for Persons with Disability (PwBD). Concession/relaxation for reserved categories will be as per Government guidelines.

Candidates who are desirous of applying for the post should be willing to relocate to any location and willing to travel frequently to any other places or sites for project related work and Management reserves the right to post the candidates to any location, based on the project requirement

Upper Age Limit : Upper age limit for General Category is 32 years as on 01.12.2024.

Relaxations: The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years. For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years‟ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

Terms of Engagement & Remuneration:-

Project Engineer – I will be engaged initially for a period of Three years which may be extended up to a maximum of One year (including initial period) a total of 4 years based on requirement and individual performance.

Retention Bonus for Project Engineer: Project Engineers who join as Project Engineer-I and complete overall tenure of 4 Years will be entitled for Retention Bonus of Rs.25,000/- for every completed year. However, the retention bonus will be payable at the end of 04 Years i.e., Rs.1,00,000/-.

Qualification: BE / B. Tech course (4 years) with PASS CLASS from University/ Institute in the following Engineering disciplines – Electronics / Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Telecommunication & Communication Engineering, Communication & Electrical / Electrical Engineering Engineering.

Post Qualification Experience as on 01.12.2024: Candidates should have minimum Two Years relevant post qualification industry experience: For Electronics Engineers

The relevant post qualification industry experience shall be in the following areas:

• Study of    Technical    Requirements    for the    Implementation    of    various Equipment of the project.
• Involving installation of IT hardware‟s along with vendors.
• Functionality checking of IT hardware and electronic equipment.
• Installation of software‟s from BSTC Bangalore and CRL GAD.
• Preparation of JRI & ATP Documents for Deliverables.
• Interacting with Vendors & Coordinating at station for receipt of deliverables.
• Storing of received project materials in station.
• Coordinating with station for conducting JRI for the received materials.
• Supporting & Monitoring of Civil works in the station.

Post Qualification Experience as on 01.12.2024: Candidates should have minimum Two Years relevant post qualification industry experience: The relevant post qualification industry experience shall be in the following areas FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS:

• 11kv substation installations with Transformer, HR Panel, HT Cabling works.
• LT installation like DG Set, UPS,LT Panels, LT Cabling works.
• Building Electrification works.
• Interaction and co-ordination with vendors & customers.

During installation & Commissioning activities, the fundamental responsibilities to be carried out by both Electronics & Electrical Engineers are as follows.

• Scheduling & Coordinating of I &C activities
• Monitoring of Installation & Commissioning of Items as per the contract.
• Monitoring of system integration of various equipment‟s
• Integration & POC of each item
• Overall integration of systems
• Hands of training of systems of Navy Personnel‟s
• Handing over of site after the project completion

Please Note:

• Candidates possessing Industrial experience only need to apply.
• Academy/Teaching/Research work experience will not be considered as relevant industrial experience.
• Candidates have to compulsorily attach the Provisional / Final Degree Certificate as proof of completion of Degree and indication of Class and percentage of marks.

• Please note that experience that is part of internship/ project work placements which were part of academic curriculum will not be considered as relevant experience. Work Experience prior to completion of the relevant minimum essential qualification will not qualify as relevant post qualification experience. Candidate should possess experience certificates / documents issued by previous and present employer clearly indicating the period of employment and post held. One year completed apprenticeship training will be considered as experience.

Selection Procedure:

• Selection will be through a Written Test, followed by an Interview for shortlisted candidates. The venue for the Written Test/ Interview will be intimated later.
• 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% for the interview. Candidates who pass in the written test will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit.
• The names of candidates shortlisted for Written Test / Interview and final selections will be notified on our Company‟s website.

General Instructions:

• Selected candidates are required to be covered under the following schemes at the time of joining – Medical insurance scheme for a sum of Rs. 2 Lakhs & Life Cover scheme for a sum of Rs. 5 Lakhs per annum.
• The Trainee Engineers who are currently working in BEL prior intimation shall be given to the respective HR Department of the Unit/SBU/CSG where the engineer is working. Copy of the same to be attached.
• Lateral application for the same post is not permitted i.e., Project Engineers who are presently working in one of the Unit of BEL are not eligible to apply for Project Engineer elsewhere in BEL. If applied, the application will be summarily rejected without assigning any reasons.
• If candidates are employed in BEL as Trainee Engineer and are fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per the advertisement can apply for the post of Project Engineer-I.
• Selected candidates will initially undergo training at Bangalore later they will be posted at Port Blair location. Candidates have to make their own arrangements for stay at the location posted and the cost towards housing accommodation will not be borne by the Company.
• Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail id, which is to be entered in the application form. All correspondence with candidates shall be done through email only.
