Project Engineer, Hardware/Team Lead

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of electronics hardware for Industrial Control products such as Controllers, I/O Modules, Communications Modules and Power Supply Modules. You will engage in development and maintenance activities of products that include definition of design specifications, development and implementation of circuits, troubleshooting designs, conducting validation/compliance tests, and creation of design and product documentation. You will engage in these activities to drive cost optimization, manufacturability and quality in products delivered. You should have a strong capability to lead and engage solutions through cross functional teams. You need to possess a passion and drive to bring in timely solutions for design challenges and anomaly resolutions.

Requirements:-

• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with Min 10 years’ relevant hardware design experience
• Hands on experience on Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal circuit design, development, testing is MUST.
• Thorough understanding on EMI-EMC issues and resolution.
• Experience in Microcontroller / Microprocessor based circuit design.
• Should have good analytical skills to do failure analysis, Root Cause Analysis
• Schematic entry, layout review.
• Obsolescence management, alternate component identification, qualification.
• Experience in Analog Circuit Simulation and Design.
• Experience in Communication protocols like I2C, SPI, CAN.
• Experience in carrying out product testing for Environmental and Certification Test Standards.
• Experience in using common lab equipment like DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Analysers etc.
• Should have go-getter attitude. Willing to take accountability and ownership of assigned task.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to lead and collaborate with another cross-functional team in multi-cultural/multi-site environment.
• Good team lead capabilities as well as Individual Contributor.
• Experienced in Industrial Automation is preferable.
• Understanding of Program Logic Controllers (PLCs) and understanding of customer applications built around PLC would be a big plus.
• Experience in Ladder programming(optional).
• Open-minded, a willingness to experiment within acceptable boundaries and a creative mind to bring novel solutions into design and problem-solving.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure with tight deadline.
• Possess good technical leadership. Be able to provide clear technical guidance and direction to others.
