Project Engineer – Automation

You will be working as Project Engineer – Automation and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be responsible for designing authority for an engineering discipline with medium complexity. Complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:-

• Lead Projects from Site Survey to Commissioning which involves, Site Survey, Assessment and Technical Solution Preparation, Application Design and Implementation, Leading / working with Team, HMI Design and Implementation, Integrated System testing (FAT), Startup and Commissioning, Troubleshooting.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics /computer science engineering with 5 – 10 years’ experience DCS/PLC system – Siemens (PCS7,TIA, S7, S5), Honeywell (TDC3000/2000 EPKS, Emerson (Delta-V ), Schneider, GE Fanuc rx3I, ABB 800xA with 800M.
• Must have knowledge of structural and functional architecture of control systems with DCS Systems – Hardware and Software, designing and testing experience with Various DCS.
• Hands-on experience in Application & Graphic Engineering tool with basic knowledge of the field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives related to Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level etc…).
• Must have knowledge on interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, IEC104 etc.)
• Must have knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backup) and operation system windows 7/XP, windows 2003 & 2008 server and well versed in MS office applications (office 2003 / 2007).
• Must have commissioning experience in Oil, Gas, Chemical, power & Water with DCS/PLC for at-least
• 3 to 4 years and should be willing to travel to abroad as per project requirements (> 50% travel anticipated).
