Project Engineer-Advance Process Control

You will be working as Project Engineer-Advance Process Control and will be part of Process Automation business area for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Engineering Manager and will be responsible for delivering APC projects for P&P, cement, mining and metals customers across the globe, developing and delivering APC scope for process industry customers like cement, mining, P&P & metals. Your responsibility will be to ensure the project deliverables are met in terms of application quality performance & budget, while working with a team of automation project engineers.

Responsibilities:-

• Carrying out engineering and commissioning of expert optimizer for cement & mining, P&P-APC & metals-APC
• Ensuring the engineering workflow is adhered and project is executed as per the quality management system
• Preparing periodic reports (like weekly commissioning report, time sheet, SAT), updating the relevant stakeholders and ensuring time sheets are maintained periodically
• Ensuring customer queries are resolved on time & maintaining customer relationship through professional approach. Efficient in process analysis and estimating the areas where optimization is required to enhance productivity
• Ensuring the activities at site are in line with company health, safety, and environmental policies
• Taking required support from L2/ L3 support line, resolving issues on time and providing required inputs for L2/ L3 support line for issues raised

Qualification And Experience:-

• B. Tech/ B.E in Chemical engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in APC implementation, cement & mining/ P&P/ metals process
• Knowledge on control system & OPC communication with PLC/DCS and MPC
• Customer focused, self-motivated and a self-starter, good listening and communication skills (both internally and with customers). A fast learner with an interest to share knowledge and train peers/ customers
