Project Director (Solar industry)

We are looking for a Project Head position to execute/monitor construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for tendering, estimation, budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.

Monitoring and controlling project performance

• Lead the team and Deliver the project
  • Report project status to upper management/Customer
  • Prepare project MIS for in-time update during project life cycle
  • Monitor and control project performance as per contractual timeline
• Supervision of the construction, monitoring tests of materials, ensure quality of construction Implement and operate a project information system
• • Develop and maintain a project scoreboard
  • Develop and implement a standard methodology
• Manage and Review the design phase of project including Technology Selection, Civil and mechanical structures, System Configuration, Electrical Connection, Distribution and Control Systems, Power Conditioning Systems for Photovoltaic power plant.
• Responsible for complete project management through the installation, testing and commissioning of the system.
• Preventive maintenance of all the electrical installations and ensure compliance with regard to all quality construction.
• Ability to effectively work with the company’s engineers and program managers to ensure customer‘s needs are met.
• Development of PM competencies and methodologies
• Promote PM within the organization
• Develop competency of personnel, including training
• Provide mentoring for project managers
• Provide a set of PM tools like MSP, SAP

• Coordinate between projects
• Understand Identify project deliverable, select, and prioritize new projects
• Manage one or more portfolios
• Manage one or more programs
• Allocate resources between projects

Strategic management Group:-

• Provide advice to upper management
• Participate in strategic planning
• Benefits management

Organizational learning:-

• Monitor and control the performance of the PPM
• Manage archives of project documentation
• Conduct post-project reviews
• Conduct project audits
• Implement and manage a database of lessons learned
• Implement and manage a risk database
