Job Description

  • Develop, manage, and maintain Volvo Wheel loader and Hauling Solutions product portfolio (Including sustainable power solutions) for Region India including Exports markets-4 countries
  • Prepare short and long-term Product and Go to Market Roadmap/Strategy for Wheel Loaders & Hauling Solutions Portfolio for Region India
  • Plan Anchor and coordinate the Product launch activities and & annual review
  • Support and coordinate the process of certification/homologation wherever required.
  • Participate and present in Industry Associations
  • Prepare, Support, and participate in Exhibitions and Product Display forums
  • Coordinate/Participate with global product governance teams & Network forums
  • Product Quality forums participation (supporting Uptime and Technology)
  • Support tactical project/vendor development for localized products, attachments, and soft offers
  • Develop Wheel Loader and Hauling Solutions Productivity Improvement Projects
  • Collate VOC and product improvement plan needs and activities
  • Define, manage and support MRS (market related specifications) for Wheel loaders and Hualing Solutions including E-Mob and other sustainable power solutions.
  • Coordinate Product Performance Study Activities and Specific Demonstration Activities
  • Work with marketing team to develop Marketing Communication Support (Promotional Product videos, tools Sales material content creation and periodic review, product brief, press release etc.)
  • Competitive Intelligence and Performance studies like side-by-side product comparison and Specs and features study and comparisons.
  • Coordinate and Support for SBS ( side by side) tests
  • Support Sales on technical inquiries (application, option, attachment, technical tender document etc.)
  • Plan and execute Sales Competence Development activities (sales tool/ new product/ basic product/soft) in coordination of CD team.
  • Deliver train the trainer training (TtT)
  • Market Analysis and mapping of product requirements and MS improvement Activities.

Qualification and Experience:-

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Sciences and/or MBA with minimum 10 years of experience in Construction Equipment Industry.
  • Business understanding for you is inspired by strategic portfolio planning, cross functional working, and customer centricity, with a deep understanding of the Wheel loaders , Haulers and different applications as a product and an opportunity.
  • Self-development and sharing knowledge are what you demonstrate quite often
  • Travelling across the Region for interactions with customers, dealers and other functional representative’s is what energize you.
