Principal RF Design Engineer

Job responsibilities:-

• Design and Development of POC to replace cable/wire harness in the vehicle
• RF Performance testing (Wi-Fi 5 GHz (802.11ac))
• BT/Wi-Fi Antenna Radiation pattern measurement (2.4 & 5 GHz)
• Perform S-parameter measurements and Antenna tuning
• Design and development of automotive RF and EMC compliant product
• Design documentation as per Visteon product development process
• Co-coordinating for product validation

Education:-

• BE or M Tech in Electronics and communication or Control Systems

Desired Competencies:-

• WIFI/BT component level design experience
• Wireless protocol, such as 802.15.4E (BLE)
• Complete understanding on BT/WiFi certification requirements and process
• Performing measurements and analyzing Transmit power, Constellation Error etc.
• Apple carplay and android auto certification process from HW perspective.
• RF front end design for tuners/BT/Wifi
• Exposure to leading SoCs form QC, Mediatek, IMX, R-Car etc.
• Good understanding on Tuners/amplifiers/DSP based designs
• RF/Wireless tools knowledge

Skill and Behaviour:-

• Should be proficient in communication, good presentation skills, Team performer, analytical thinking and problem solving.
